Who came to see the show?

Ashley, Lindsay and I brought Lillian to see Bye Bye Birdie.
Molly's teacher, Julie Willey came with Mrs. Coxen
This is Molly with Stephanie, who played Rosie.
Grandma in the Green house came with me.  (Grandpa was still in Afghanistan).
Linda Rane came with the nearly the whole Grigg family.

Not pictured:  Nathan and Ed, who were in Sleeping Beauty with her, Me and her dad, and Roland. The Thomas family members Crystal, Madeline, and Brooklyn

What are you going to do while Anthony goes down for a nap?

If you're Jack, you'll take two bites of an apple, microwave a grapefruit (quite a nice airfreshener, actually) and drink directly from the soy sauce bottle.

Why wouldn't you?

Jack speaks about himself in the 3rd person a lot.  Cute when you're two, less when you're running for president.  He said to me at bedtime a few days ago 'Jack's kiss him'.  So I did.

Did your sister make it?

She did, and she brought her baby!
He somehow managed to teach my baby to stand up in his crib, despite the  fact that they have spent very little time together, since they seem to always nap at opposite times.
This bear came from my Grandma's house.  It is Anthony's and he has lent it to Will.

Kind of looks like she's yanking the toy away, doesn't it?  I'm sure she's just going to show him how to use it 'properly'.

Can I have some?

Anthony loves to try and get things from Jack's tray.  Sometimes he even tries to give him stuff.
It's kind of a funny phenomenon.  Jack says 'No Anthony' in a gentle parent sounding tone.
 This has no effect.
So we moved Anthony's chair away from Jack's.
But Jack just grabbed the back of Anthony's chair, and got pulled along for the ride, like a little train.  He wanted the theft to stop, but not at the cost of separation from his little buddy.

Are you taking the truck?

Jack and Anthony were so excited to run an errand with me (getting flea treatment for the cat) in the truck.
Riding up front in our tiny cab, sitting so close to each other and mom, made the errand, at first anyway, so fun.

Can we stop at the grocery store?

Anthony is now old enough to sit in a doubler grocery cart.  These two were so pleased with the arrangement.  Jack kept giggling.  With free cookies, a smalish sized store,   people bagging your groceries and carrying them out, it is no wonder we frequent it more than any other.  We love you Roths!

How will you fill your time now that 'Bye Bye Birdie' is over?

Well, in some bad timing for our family, Track practice has started.
Roland has already started, and Molly will soon.  (She's actually running in a meet today, despite not practicing while her show was underway.)
At this location, we went to the first practice as a family.  I dropped off Wes and Roland, picked up Molly from her play practice, and then we ate snacks while we watched practice.  Jack and Lillian both tried to get hit by cars.  Lillian came the closest this time.  Wesley and Roland were still in the practice area, but as practice had ended, I went to put the two little boys in the car, and then drove it closer.  Little did I think, until Lillian spied me, and took off out of the track area, with no one noticing.  She was about to rush headlong into traffic to get to our van, but one of the other coaches delayed her, knowing something wasn't right.  Seeing that gleam in her eyes, I parked my van in the middle of the thoroughfare  it was headed the wrong way, and got out to chase her down and try to stop cars from hitting her.  So that was exciting.  Despite all this fun, I think we may start going as a family again now that the play is over.
